so the portrait stand closed down because no-one wants to buy a portrait at downtown disney. no love of fine art in the disneyland crowd? what a shock. so kaman's finally opened a caricature stand at disney and i was thrown on board. kaman's is a terrible corporation to work for. just another monster sucking the depleting blood of today's young, penniless artists. two caricature jobs i had before this paid me 30% and 25% of my sales. kaman's, being the biggest company of the three, pays me a whopping 16%. not to mention they have an uptight rule for every uptight rule. on the lighter side of things, this quirky little boy asked me to draw him as the cheshire cat. being a big alice fan and having never before received such a genius request, i seized the opportunity with gusto and was pleased with the outcome. the end
