More Fair

L.A. County Fair 2010

i worked at the la county fair a few days outta the week for the month of september. it was a lot more laid back and paid better. and now it's gone. met some awesome artists from san diego and they helped me come up with some ideas.

Alfred E. Newman

i thought this guy looked a lot like the mascot from mad magazine. he had a habit of raising his shoulders up to his ears i guess out of glee? his mother was kept telling him to stop that but i tried to ewxplain it was good for character in the cartoon. even kept him from doing it in the photo which would have been nice for the comparison. o well. she seemed nice maybe too nice. had two prior caricatures of her son from baby and a few years ago. mine was the third and reminded me i'm not doing so bad with the competition out there.

Odd Couple

i couldn't tell if this was a couple or a grandfather/granddaughter. she kept calling him honey tho. i just assumed it was an anna nicole situation and went with it. they seemed very nice.

Mermaid

the mother of this cutie pie was kind enough to send me this photo of her daughter since she wasn't feelin smiley at the time. i told her i'd make her famous on my blog and finally i have fulfilled my end of the bargain. thanks so much!

Crazy Guy

this man muttered a lot and i couldn't understand a word he was saying. his delivery sounded like jokes so i laughed.

Couple At The Beach Ofcourse

these guys were really nice. still workin on everything. feel like im gettin the juices flowin again.
